How to use

  1. Pick the time for the alarm — a time already past today schedules for tomorrow.
  2. Hit 'Set alarm' and watch the countdown.
  3. The alarm rings at the set time, as long as the tab stays open.

Frequently asked questions

Does it ring if I close the tab?+

No — web pages can only ring while the tab is open. It's ideal for at-your-computer reminders (meeting starts, deadlines, medication); for wake-up alarms, keep your phone alarm as a backup.

What about computer sleep?+

The browser stops during system sleep, so the alarm won't ring. Set your power options to turn off the display only, without sleeping, to be safe.

I don't hear the alarm.+

Browsers only allow sound after you've interacted with the page. Pressing Start enables it automatically, so if you started the timer normally the alarm will ring. Also check your device volume and mute switch.

Is it really free?+

Yes. No sign-up, no install, no usage limits. The site is ad-supported.

Guide

Where it comes in handy

Deep in PC work, you stop checking the clock. Five minutes before a meeting, a lunch reservation, a registration window opening, noodles steeping — set the time once and sink into your work worry-free. It also makes a fine power-nap alarm during long nights.
