About EazyTimer
EazyTimer is a free collection of browser tools — timer, stopwatch, pomodoro and alarm clock. No install, no sign-up; one click and you're timing.
Why we built it
Half the moments you need a timer are moments when pulling out a phone is awkward: putting an activity countdown on a classroom screen, timing focus sessions at your work PC, rehearsing a presentation. A phone timer is small, gets buried under notifications, and can't be shared by a room.
EazyTimer solves this with a single browser tab: a huge fullscreen display, a countdown in the tab title, and one-click presets for common durations — designed to get you timing within three seconds.
Doesn't a web timer drift?
Naive web timers subtract one second per tick, so background-tab throttling makes them drift by minutes. Every EazyTimer tool anchors to the real clock at the moment you press start — leave the tab alone for hours and it stays exact.
While running, the page requests a screen Wake Lock, and alarm sounds are synthesized right in the browser with no audio files to load — so they ring regardless of network conditions.
How is it free?
Static pages plus in-browser logic keep running costs very low, and the site is supported by the ads on its pages. No sign-up, no payment, no usage limits.
Who runs it?
EazyTimer is built and run by an independent developer in South Korea — from the team behind EazyTools (PDF), EazyAudio, EazyImage, EazyVideo and EazyUnit. Feature suggestions are always welcome.
